MoRD Project Launched at Ashalaya (Bangalore)

MoRD - DB Tech livelihood project, BASE was inaugurated at Ashalaya (Vidya Nagar Cross, Bangalore) on July 10, 2010. The training centre was inaugurated by Sr. Pauline (Managing Director) and Sr. Roshni (Directress) of Ashalaya, along with Co-guests Mr. Vincent (State coordinator) and other DB Tech Staff from Bangalore office. Other dignitaries such as Village Panchayat representatives of surrounding villages and students were also present in the function.

After an intensive mobilization with a huge registration, 120 students were selected for Automobiles, Information Technology and Garment Technology courses. The program was introduced by Mr. Vincent (State Co-ordinator) from DB Tech, Bangalore office. The training started with a brief overview on the history and background of DB Tech, its mission, vision and interventions. Addition to the technical skills in these domains, soft skills like personality development, spoken English and basic computers are also taught in the center.
