Life skill Training Programme at Dumka
Don Bosco Development Society (DBDOC) of Kolkata province conducted a three day Life Skill Training program at St. Joseph’s Vocational Training Institute Dumka, Jharkhand which started on 15th June 2010. There were 30 participants from different trades like tailoring, computer and motor mechanic who attended this training programme.The seminar was conducted by Mr. Hingulas Khakhalary, Mrs. Anuradha Chatterjee, Ms. Baisakhi Sarkar and Mr. Philip Xess.
The topics that were dealt in the training were teamwork, time management, decision making, and communication, personality development, coping with shyness, positive thinking and motivation. From the very beginning the participants extended full cooperation as they enjoyed every moment of the training.
It was fully interactive and responsive, as they actively took part in every game conducted like Chinese whisper, seven-up, team building, etc. They came up with many interesting doubts which were very well clarified. It was a symbol of learning and they expect more of these trainings in the future.
