MoRD Project Induction Training, Kolkata
Despite the scorching heat, 33 shortlisted candidates from Bengal and other states gathered together for the Induction programme for the MoRD (Ministry of Rural Development) Project at Don Bosco Nitika, Kolkata Province on 18th May. This training lasted for five days headed by Mr. Stanley, resource person from DB Tech, Delhi Province. Welcoming the newly recruited staff for the project, Rev. Fr.Ellicherail Thomas sdb, Provincial of Salesian province of Kolkata, thanked their generosity in joining hands with Don Bosco in this noble venture.
The induction commenced with an icebreaking session after which snapshots on various methodologies like skill development, government program, DB Tech, MoRD and appropriate procedure for selection of the candidates was infused.
For any specific field the trainers must know their audience. The need of the youth survey was highlighted because there lays a psychological factor which can assist the trainers to deal with any candidate while conducting a training program. Though the duration of the program is short, the trainers need to instill maximum teaching within the short period of time. The documentary movie titled “Meri Zindagi Meri Zimedari” was shown to all the trainers. It was engulfed with a moral message that each one is responsible for his/her own life. The path that one chooses will lead one to live that life in accordance to its choice.
Some light energizers were introduced to keep them go live. All joined hand in hand to enjoy the game.
