Inter Tech Volleyball Competition
On 27th March, Inter Tech Volleyball Competition was organized at Don Bosco SERI, Mirpara. There were four technical institutes DBTS, Liluah, DB Krishnanagar, DB Park Circus and the hosts of DBSERI. The annual Inter Tech Volleyball championship began in the year 2009. This league match was an initiative of Rev. Fr. Jose Podimattam sdb the technical commission head in the province. An exciting competitive spirit was displayed by all the teams. The four teams put in their great endeavor to win the championship but only DB SERI and DB Park Circus were seen on the final round. The two teams that were out from the league gave the viewers a sense of understanding that one should enjoy the game with true sportsman spirit. Fun and frolic, respect for each other, kindness and gentleness were few of the traits that the students exhibited throughout the tournament.
Yes, it is said that a lion knows his house much better than the rest. Once again the hosts of this year emerged as winners for the second time, whereas DBTI Park Circus was the runners up. Not only this, Praveen Santosh Tiru of DBTI Park Circus was recognized and awarded as the best player for his excellent performance in the game.
