Capacity building program for the technical students of Krishnagar

17th Feb, 2010 DBTS, Krishnagar: One month English coaching class and Basic Computer skill training has been organized for the technical students of Krishnagar. Total no. of 26 students participated for the program. The sole aim of this program is to equip the students, how to use the Computer and speak in English in their day to day life. This initiative help the students to know how important the English language and basic computer skill is in today’s competitive job market. There are 5 teachers to guide and take care of the students. According to Fr. Sunil Lakra, Assistant Superintendent technical (non-formal), “this program will not only help the students but also they will become a model for the rest of the students of the institute”. It was observed that such program also help them to improve their self esteem, self confidence and learning skills.
