Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme

Guwahati: 10th February 2010 In the effort towards promoting new entrepreneurs in the region, Boscotech, Silchar in collaboration with DB TECH regional office organized a one-day programme for the outgoing trainees of the institute. Resource Persons Mr. Sumit Bhattacharya, Asst. Manager from District Industries & Commerce Centre (DICC) and Mr. Subhash Singh, Development Officer from National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), were invited to speak to the trainees on entrepreneurship and orient them for taking up govt. sponsored schemes as self employment ventures. When interacting with the trainees on number of queries, the experts in the panel were more than satisfied with the active participation of the trainees. Some of the potential entrepreneurs even met the resource persons afterwards on one-to-one basis getting counselling and information.
