Offering a HOPE against odds

Hyderabad, Feb. 15. The Sacred Heart Novitiate community of Manoharabad invited DB Tech team to animate the neighborhood youth of a wide-ranging background, qualification and age group for two days.

On 13 Feb, 2010 DB Tech team went to Boy`s residential school accompanied by Fr Chinnappa, the administrator and the novices to animate 8th to 10th standard boys. First session was taken for 8th & 9th standard boys on study habits, time management, concentration-basic tips, Exam-preparation etc. This session went on well in an interactive manner. Boys were very active, expressive, and enthusiastic and tried their best to utilize the opportunity that had come to their door step. Second session was taken for 9th & 10th standard boys on more of career guidance.

On 14 Feb, 2010 Sacred Heart Novitiate community invited nearby 7 village youth for a day long animation programme on Career guidance and job orientation. Almost 80 participants attended to make this event a grand success and remarkable. In the first session inputs were given to instill self confidence, positive attitude and perseverance to overcome their problems and mind blocks. More emphasis was laid on ``change your mind to change your life`` and ``your attitude determines your altitude``. These two themes were presented down to their standard by quoting great and renowned person’s lives as examples. A whole day programme was very much encouraging and raised our hopes to look forward to organize many more events in the coming days.
