Grooming for Employability

27th to 30th January 2010: A four day training program for employability was organized for the non formal students who passed out from DBSERI, Mirpara at Nitika. The students were divided into two groups, each group were trained for two days (27th - 28th & 29th - 30th).Total no. of 53 technical youths participated in the program.
 
Rev. Fr. Jose Pampadiyil, Vice Provincial was the chief guest for the inaugural session. He briefed the importance of the training program and how one can prepare himself/herself for an interview. Resource persons from various Industries, NGO’s and Management Institute were invited to deal with various topics. Topics like Communication, Leadership, Motivation, HIV/AIDS, Interview, Dress Code, Safety Measures, Time Management, Service Mindset, and how to prepare a strong C.V. This program was made very lively through sharing of experiences of great people, video clippings, games, group discussions and role plays.

This training enlightened them to the wide range of possibilities and responsibilities in the area of Industrial Sector. All the participants were eager to learn and their active participation added more vigor to the training program.
