Social & Health Awareness Programme in Lucknow

The PRT team of Delhi province organized a three days Social & Health Awareness programme for the village women and girls in Lucknow region. The social awareness programme was aimed at income generation and significance of SHG, emphasizing the role of women in the family and society as a whole, importance of girl child education. The health awareness programme was focused on adolescent reproductive health system and changes during adolescence, understanding body process, safe sex, STI and HIV. This training was conducted with an intention to enhance the knowledge and sensitize the women and adolescent girls with regard to many social & health related issues. This programme covered more than 500 participants from the different remote villages of Lucknow region.
