On 16th January 2010, the 2nd group of 46 young, enthusiastic, determined and less privileged girls and boys were welcomed in St. Joseph's Vocational Training Institute by the 1st group of boys and girls, to initiate their learning and developing skills training in various trades. The previous batch of students presented a wide range of cultural programme on this occasion. Mrs. Amita Rakshit, the Chairwoman of the Dumka Municipality, was the chief guest for the day. She gave the key note address to the new comers in which she emphasized that the students should take keen interest to learn the various skills offered at St. Joseph's VTI, Dudahni, Dumka. They should be determined to complete the course by all means in spite of all the hardships and difficulties that may come their way during their tenure in the institute. Those students who complete their training only will have hope of getting jobs to earn their living and to make their family life better and happier.

Let this Year 2010 be a year of new turn for those less privileged boys and girls to bring new hope and prosperity to their families and to their own life.
