A little motivation goes a long way in....transforming Dreams to Destiny

"My dream is to work in a Multi - National organization in Mumbai" shares Anitha with her classmates, an inhabitant of Dharavi, one of the largest slums in Asia located in Mumbai. She had to discontinue her studies after Class XII because her father could not do much to look after his family. Nevertheless, she was a head strong girl and decided to join for the Bosco PLUS Training program with great enthusiasm. During one of the inspiring sessions she attended, Anitha shared about her dreams with her classmates. She rigorously started working towards materializing her dream and soon after she completed her training she was selected as a Hostess in a Multi-National Company. She attributes her success to the Bosco PLUS team who mentored and motivated her. She says, "At Bosco PLUS, I learnt about different aspects of Front Office, Computer and Retail skills which are taught only in Management schools. I owe my success to my facilitators, who kept motivating me to fight against all odds. The computer skills, life skills and time management skills that I learnt from them are proving so useful at every step in my job".
