Don Bosco Tech India Gets the MoRD Project Sanctioned
The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) has sanctioned a pilot project to Don Bosco Tech India for training and placement. This is the first of the four projects that DBTI had proposed to the ministry in the month of May 09. The project objectives are to give market oriented skills training with placement linkages to 11800 rural BPL youth in the north and central parts of India in a span of two years. The states that will fall under the purview of operation of this project are Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh. The other three projects for the training with placement linkages at different parts of the country are at different levels of approval and we hope to get them sanctioned at the earliest.
