Promise of a brighter future: Certification Day - DB Plus, Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Sep. 10. After 25 exciting days of DB Plus training for Job seekers (technicians), 57 young men with grateful hearts and cheerful faces received a certificate from Fr. Noel, the Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad on the birthday of Our Lady (Sept. 8, 2009). Out of the 60 who joined this programme held at Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadan, Hyderabad, 37 already have in hand appointment letters to prestigious companies with promise of a thick pay too!! Mr. M.A. Sudheer, PRT invited the Chief guest of the day Rev Fr Noel Maddhichetty, Provincial and Fr. Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director, Development Office (BSK) on to the dais. Fr. Sudhakar presented a brief report of the 25 days DB Plus training and offered to the youngsters four important suggestions to lead a successful career, just awaiting them: to have a Pure Heart, lots of Hard Work, to Think Big and Dream High. He also reiterated the importance of learning English and computer skills to become an important person in work place and to climb the professional career ladder. He expressed his satisfaction and joy of placing all the deserving candidates in various prestigious companies in and around Hyderabad through this DB Plus training programme.
Fr Noel Maddhichetty SDB, Provincial exhorted the boys to continue learning, gather information about current happenings in the industry, upgrade and equip with the latest trends. He advised the aspirants to develop reading and writing skills in English so that it may be easy for them to follow the manuals of the latest machinery and understand the functioning thoroughly. He also insisted that the boys take to heart the advice of Don Bosco in their work place through helping others, cooperating with the management, discharging their duties sincerely and honestly. Fr Noel and Fr Sudhakar distributed the DB Plus certificates and appointment letters given by various companies to the selected candidates and wished them a successful and bright future.
