Orientation Training at DBTI Okhla
August 29, Okhla: Bosco Team Organized a week long training programme for the students of Don Bosco Technical Institute Okhla from 24th to 29th August 2009. This training programme was conducted two weeks after the new academic session began. It was primarily designed for the new admissions but second year students were also included. There were a total of 300 students who participated in this training.
The students were divided into batches of three which covered all the three departments of DBTI namely Computer, Mechanical and Printing. The training programme was structured with the intention of developing and boosting the confidence level of the new students as well as to enhance the skills and knowledge of the senior students towards professional life ahead. They were given activity-based sessions on Self-Awareness, Positive Attitude, Basic Mannerisms, Health & Hygiene, Do not Complain, Goal Setting, Study Skill, Listening Skills, Dealing with Peer Pressure and Work Place Ethics . The students, who recently joined the institute with the determination to make their tomorrows better, were beaming with confidence and determination after the sessions. The senior students felt enthusiastic and vibrant after their sessions and demanded for more such trainings before they leave the institute.
