Teacher’s Orientation Programme

On 21st March Don Bosco Tech India organized a Teachers’ orientation program for the teachers of Don Bosco Joti, a job oriented training institute caters to the needs of the poor youth of the locality offering them skills for livelihood on non-formal courses in Computer Application, Computer Hardware, Secretarial, Automobile Mechanic, Electrician & Wireman, Welding & Fabrication and Motor Driving. Fr. K.K. Noble explained the traditional “Guru Shishya relationship and the rift that is taking place in the recent days. Rev. Fr. Veliyan Davis, Director, presented the positive attitudes that every person should cultivate in him/her to be a winner, he stressed the point that every educator should develop with in him /her a positive attitude towards life and should in turn inculcate it in the life of his/her students.

Rev. Fr. Alex Topno elaborated the “Preventive System of Don Bosco”, an educative method based on the principles of Reason, Religion and loving kindness that leads to the development of whole person. He presented to them the ways and means in which this method can be applied in their teaching. Fr. Noble shared on how to be an effective teacher and qualities of an educator followed by group discussion on areas of improvement to meet the expectations of the institute, students and parents. During the evaluation, teachers were very positive and expressed their desire to have more of such programs in the future..
