Skill Training Centre at BIDAR

The salesian presence at BIDAR has now been consolidated through a training centre, a child labour rehabiliation centre and a residence for the two salesians pioneering the projects in the area. The skill training centre has now become alive with about 30 students seeking training in computers and electrical trades. Though not far away from the District Headquarters, the project suffers from lack of power for more than half the day. Not bogged down with these realities the project has now launched both the skill training and child labour rehabilitation programmes and looks ahead at equipping these with required built up space and training materials.
This becomes the latest skill training institution in the Salesian Province of Bangalore and we hope it will serve the purpose of giving best to the least.
