Orientation Programme on Youth Survey

23rd September 2008: A series of orientation on youth survey has been organized during the last two weeks in various Don Bosco centres in Guwahati, Silchar, Shillong and Jowai in Meghalaya on 12 September, 17th September and 23rd September respectively.

The programme was facilitated by the Province Resource Coordinator with cordial support of placement coordinators of these centres. Staff, trainees and local youth participated in these programmes. The purpose and aim of the youth survey and data collection was explained in detail and the effort of DBTech Network towards understanding the status of the youth at regional and national level for curriculum development and standardization. The participants were also guided through the process of facilitation skills, given few practical tips on ‘do’s and don’ts, so that data collection becomes hassle free, genuine and reliable.
