Mission
To stand with the youth by offering multipurpose vocational trades to cope with the demand of our times and to bring out the best from them, their talents, aptitudes to maturity through skills training and cultural advancement.
Vision
To prepare them to survive, to use the technical skills for employment , self-employment and to help others.
Objectives
To contribute to this region in men-power in factories and Industries.
To generate self-employment and the spirit of self oriented business in the region.
To give meaning and direction to the youth who needs our care.
To spread the message of respecting the dignity of labour.
Achievements
Bosco Pnar past trainees are in all walks of life.
Past out trainees some have their own workshops, micro enterprises.
Government of Meghalaya through transport department recognises the Driving school.
Non-formal trades for droup out youths is being appreciated in the district.
The institution enjoy a good name in the local administration and to the general public.
Milestones
Several trades are in the Institute: a Driving School, the only one in the whole District which is also recognized by the Transport Department; Motor mechanics, Welding, Typing, Computer courses and Carpentry
There is also a Hostel for young men attending the Kiang Nangbah College.
1986 – The land was bought to start something for the youth of the area.
1991 – The construction of the building was started
1994 – driving course, carpentry, Stabiliser block making, Welding.
1995 – Animal husbandary, farming
1996 – Fishery, Tailoring, Plumbing
1998 – Motor mechanic, typing, Domestic wiring
1998 – Recognition for driving school by the state govt.
2004 – Computer
2006 – Strengthen the existing trades( Motor mechanics, Computer, Typing, Carpentry , Housewiring, Welding & Fabrication, Driving school.
2007. – 3 months courses in Driving,
2008.- 3 months Basic Electricals & repairs, 6 months course in Driving cum Mechanic.
2008 – 2 months in Automobile servicing.
2008 – 2 months English fluency course, Basic skills in music reading.
