Tailoring Teachers Trained in Modular Curricula

Trichy 24th August 2007 : Don Bosco Tech India facilitated four days of workshop from 21-24th August for 20 tailoring teachers of Thalimadu.

The workshop was aimed to train the staff in the new market based modular curricula developed by Bosco Delhi ( Bosco Organization for Social Concern and Operation, New Delhi) with the support of GTZ ( German Technical Collaboration) . Mr. Joseph Eichenseer facilitated the workshop with the support of the Development Office of Trichi ( Cauveri).

The competency based market curricula gave new impetuous to the staff in imparting training. The trainee based training gave a new out look to skill training. Training was well appreciated by the participants. ... "a lot to learn and a lot to share" was the comment of a staff. The teachers expressed great satisfaction and joy in building dreams and shaping lives of many marginalized women in the Don Bosco Way.
