The Finishing School Programme at BREADS (Bangalore)

The third batch of the Finishing School under the Bosco Plus programme was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Thomas Anchukandam (Provincial, Bangalore Province) at BREADS on August 19, 2010. 26 students were selected for this training program based on their academic performance from Don Bosco centres at Hassan, KGF, Bhadravathi, Davangere and Vaduthala.

The Bosco Plus Programme initiated by DB Tech to equip the students, who completed their training in various centres in Kerala and Karnataka with communicative English, basic computer knowledge, soft skills, life skills and workplace readiness. In this two-months of residential programme, these students will be fine-tuned with essential skills required by the employers. At the end of the training programme, BREADS will also contact companies and industries who may recruit these students for placement after the finishing school programme.
