About Us
Bosco Boys Home (BBH) started in the year 1976 as a response to attend to the special needs of children who were dropping out of school and had no alternatives to Education. BBH is a residential Non-formal Technical Training Institution located in Borivali, a northern suburb of Mumbai in Maharashtra State. The Street Boys in BBH are usually from the suburbs of Borivali and a largely from the Don Bosco ‘Shelter’ – a home for the street children at Wadala, Mumbai, which is also the founding organization of Bosco Boys Home. Don Bosco ‘Shelter’ operates as a full time Residential shelter and as a Night shelter.
The students here are given a spectrum of opportunities to express their talents and potentials. After developing a certain level of Confidence, these children are trained in several skill trades to help them earn a livelihood. This helps them to develop a positive view of their future.
