Brief History of the Technical Institution:
This institution has been founded by late Arch Bishop Casmir Gnanadickam for the dropouts. It has been functioning for few years due to lack of funds. It has been closed.
Salesians have taken up and looking for avenues to be start training in Carpentry, Driving and Welding as the first step. Later, to develop it as Poly Technical College for the poor people.
Future plan of the Institution:
- Restart Non formal trainings in Carpentry, Welding and Driving School
- Develop into Poly Tech College
Rector or Director’s message regarding the institution:
Lack of funds it has been closed. Fund has to be made available. Being the District where all Industrial Growth is witnessed. Great opportunity to start a Poly Technical College is feasible. Non formal training alone will not help people in Today’s Context.
